Bella Poarch's birth Filipino parents welcomed her in the Philippines on the 9th of February in 1997. Her grandmother was living on the streets up to her three year age at which point she was placed into care. The father she adopted, who is Filipina-American who has a military background was white, and American. The woman has said she and the adopted brother that she was with were subject to abuse by the adoptive parents since her childhood until she joined the army. After a short time in San Francisco, her family relocated to Texas in order to assist her father undergo a bypass procedure. The father was not able to stop the psychological abuse, despite the fact that she believes physical violence had diminished. When she was 18, Poarch enlisted into the United States Navy. Poarch opened her TikTok account in April of 202020. The account grew quickly to stardom, accumulating over 40 million followers within less than eight months. The account was home to a variety of videos. But her most enduring hit is a music video to Millie B's popular hit track Soph Aspin Send. She lip-synced and jumped rhythmically to the music in a zoomed out video. Poarch launched her YouTube as well as Twitter accounts within the month after her joining TikTok to take advantage of her rising fame. The popularity of Poarch grew exponentially in November in 2020. She reportedly piqued the interest of two big professional Esports teams. 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan expressed interest in hiring her as a content creator under their respective brands.
