Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in the year 1980. She is an Michigan native, born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is born in Polish descent (mother) as well as German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen realized her potential in the entertainment industry at a young age. In 1992, she was awarded her first acting role in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell 13, who was 13 when her mother signed as an agent was cast on ads on newspapers and TV. Then, she also began training in private acting. Bell appeared as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and the drama club. When her school staged a production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was chosen to play Dorothy. Bell went to an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts which she attended to study Musical Theater within New York City. Bell completed her studies in 2001, resigned her studies at the university to play her role as Becky on Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell was the first to make her credit debut as Becky in Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however the film cut her character from the film and she only appears in the credits. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell was on the Broadway version of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
