Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her portrayals as the lead character in TV programs like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. In addition to her TV performances, she has been known for films like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack is from a non-related family. Her parents are psychotherapist in a clinical setting and also the proprietor of a local ice cream restaurant. Her professional career started when she was 12 years old as she performed in the stage version of 'Amahl and The Night Visitors', an opera for Christmas. In the early years of her professional career, she was only twelve when she performed on stage in an opera production entitled 'Amahl's Night Visitors'. McCormack continued to perform at the theater, and eventually landed roles that were on small screens as well as the big screen. McCormack today is acknowledged as being one of Hollywood's best-known and most versatile performers. Michael Morris (producer/director) is the McCormack's spouse. McCormack and Morris have three daughters.
