Farrah Leni was a American model, actress and painter. Her role in "The Apostle" made her a star. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, she started her acting career in commercials. In addition, she appeared in as a guest on television shows such as "I Dream of Jeannie" as well as "The Flying Nun". In the French film 'Love is A Funny Thing she was a secondary actor. The film became famous for her iconic red swimsuit poster that eventually grew into the best selling pin-up poster of all time. The actress was featured in numerous popular TV movies and shows over the years which established her as a symbol of sexuality. In the popular crime drama show Charlie's Angels, she played an investigator. The show followed three women in Los Angeles who work in the detective agency. The actress was known not only for playing glamourous parts, but also for her dramatic roles including the battered lady in the TV Film 'The Burning bed. At the age of 60, she was diagnosed with being diagnosed with anal cancer. She died 3 years later.
